Joining a circle

Ask a friend for their circle's code, or the link they sent you. In the app, tap Join with a code and enter it. A circle has up to 12 members.

Reporting or blocking someone

A photo, excuse, comment or member that goes too far? Tap … on their story, press and hold their comment, or tap … next to their name in the circle's members, then Report. We review every report within 24 hours, and no one knows it was you.

In the same place, Block hides their photos, excuses, comments and reactions from you, and their wizzes no longer reach you. Their activities still count for the circle's week. You can unblock them from the circle's members, or leave the circle at any time.

Apple Health and Health Connect

Connect Apple Health (iPhone) or Health Connect (Android) from your Profile: your workouts show up in the app, ready to post with their stats. Using Strava, Garmin or another app? Turn on its sync with Apple Health or Health Connect.

To stop sharing: on iPhone, in the Health app (your photo at the top right > Apps > Proofit); on Android, in Health Connect's app permissions.

Notifications

Choose which ones you get in your Profile. If none arrive, check that notifications are allowed for Proofit in your phone's settings.

Purchases and subscriptions

Excuses are bought through the App Store or Google Play. For a refund, contact Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google Play (request a refund).

Had a Pro subscription in the old version of the app? Cancel it in the subscriptions of your Apple or Google Play account.

Deleting your Proofit account

In the app: Profile > Delete my account, then confirm. It happens at once, and circles you administered go to the longest-standing member.

Without the app: write to us at [email protected] with the phone number or the Apple or Google email address you sign in with. We delete your account and your data within one month.

What is deleted

For good: your profile (first name, photo), the phone number or email address you sign in with, your photos and activities with their stats, your reactions, comments, excuses and forfeits, your notification settings, and your Apple sign-in token, revoked. A copy may remain for a few days in our host's backups before they are overwritten.

What is kept

• Your purchase history, with Apple, Google and RevenueCat, for the period required by law. An old Pro subscription is cancelled separately, with Apple or Google.
• Reports concerning you, for one year at most, no longer linked to your account.
